Great version by Jackie DeShannon. I haven't heard any others,
but I always thought it was a very unique and cool song.

I really like Lulu's Atco work. "To Sir With Love", regardless how
pretty it is, just isn't very representative of what Lulu was
capable of. It's too bad she never really "made it" over here. Her
Bowie covers are great too!

I can't remember the record label, but I remember listening to a
45 by "The Rogues"--the A-side was an uptempo arrangement of Buddy
Holly's "Everyday" and the B-side was a slick instrumental called
"Roger's Reef" (organ and piano). --TD

Is "Let's Call It A Day Girl" the same song Bobby Vee cut in 1969?
Great record.

Wow, I knew some songs you wrote, but not all obviously. Can you
make a list for us with artists?? "Girls In Love" and "Jill" are
tremendous summer of love '67 songs that I truly LOVE! Shows it was
not all psychedelic during that great period. "Gotta Get Away"--Wow,
another great one. Love the Sounds Unlimited version Sundazed put
out as an Ep. Speaking of which, both "Me About You" and "Whatever
Happened to Happy" are on the Sundazed "Sit Down..It's the Mojo Men"
Cd, for whoever was asking.
Thanks for all those songs and comments. Clark
