May I take this opportunity to recommend to Spectropop readers that they
seek out any of Jake Arnott's books, as they are all wonderful evocations
of a London and era you may or may not be familiar with.
I saw him about two years ago one afternoon in the cafe at the NFT and
regret not having spoken to him .
Personally I'm having an instumental morning as the soundtrack to my life.
I'm really rather enjoying having iTunes on the Mac here. It's like having a
jukebox with a selection or random setting.

I'm on another quest for information. With so many experts around, I
usually come up trumps here at S'pop. What I require is as much
information as possible about the following record:
Florian Taylor "Think About Me"/"Knowing" (Cadet 5546) 1966
Does anyone have it? I'd love to hear it. Rumour has it that Florian
Taylor is better known by another name. We'll see.
Hey la,
Mick Patrick

RONNIE EVANS Master Of Ceremonies for "THE SHIRELLES" and "THE
SHIRLEY ALSTON REEVES SHOW" was memorialized in Passaic, New
Jersey last evening.
Shirley and Beverley co-hosted the tribute which included vocal
performances by Arlene Smith, Maxine Brown, and Ben E. King.
Passaic High School chum Joey "Stalighter" Dee danced the Peppermint
Twist with Dave Brigati. Shirley and Beverley danced to When The
Saints Go Marching In, reminiscent of the finale of their shows
throughout the decades.
RONNIE EVANS MY PAL OF 38 YEARS I WILL MISS YOU.
