The flip side of "Cindy's Birthday", as already mentioned in another post, was "Something Special". Johnny Crawford sang a frontier style version of "Something Special" (a couple of times) on an episode of THE RIFLEMAN. I recall seeing it within the past year on the Hallmark Channel. I don't know if he ever gave THE RIFLEMAN treatment to "Cindy's Birthday". The original version of "I'm Gonna Knock On Your Door" was by the Isley Brothers during their RCA ("Shout", "Respectable") days. Ron Isley gave it a very different treatment from where Eddie took it.
