This may have been answered definitively by now, but The Wonders were
made up of members of BOTH Fountains of Wayne and Candy Butchers. The
lead singer of Candy Butchers sand lead. I have albums by both bands.
I love Fountains of Wayne. Candy Butchers I'm not as crazy about, but
there is some good stuff on their album. That said, I have NO idea
who would be playing The Wonders in concert. I'd be surprised if it
was the above-mentioned guys, although the fact that they were doing
some power pop sets indicates it could have been.
