Subject: French comp project need help

Dear Spectro friends

I'm working in order to put together an anthology on Euro and
American sixties and seventies pop. I have been asked to
compile a list of songs that might be good representative US
bubblegum or sunshine pop or power pop or electronic pop or
pop-punk, etc. tunes. Obscure is okay. Also helpful is if the
songs are associated with the EMI and Capitol labels, for ease
of licensing, (though this is not essential).
So I need your help + suggestions

Best-
Jean-Emmanuel

Please get in touch-
And if you were in a band from the 60s/70s/80s/90s and did
get some cool stuff released, get in touch too-
the first requirement excellence!!!

With the prodding of my friend Rob, we went up to thank her for her work, and she was gracious and lovely. As his first encore Brian introduced Ellie, then he and the band launched into a fabulous "Be My Baby". Ellie was in tears. Brian thanked her for writing his favorite song. Dave, How wonderful for you and your friend to get to meet Ellie and thank her for her outstanding work in the world of music!! She is certainly one of my all-time favorite songwriters. Also, it's great that you got to attend Brian Wilson performances. I think it's very nice that he took a few moments to salute Ellie.
