Thanks for the tip. That will call for immediate addition to my Nick
DeC discography. Meanwhile, of course, you are aware that there is a
version arr. by Nitz, Jackie DeShannon's. And here is yet another
version CO-arranged by Nick and Van Dyke Parks, by the Mojo Men.

Message: 2 Date: Mon, 27 Jan 2003 19:53:36 -0800 (PST) From: Steve Harvey Subject: Flaming Lips Did you ever get the Flaming Lips lp about the Pink Robot. Do You Realize? their WXPN hit, is great, but I wonder if the rest of the lp is up to snuff. It is on the new Uncut CD. $8 for the magazine and CD. Some good stuff in addition to Do You Realize? Also got a tape of Was Not Was - Laughin at Tornadoes. Some really good stuff on it like Smile with Marshall Crenshaw (supposedly) and this really spooky, but melodic tune called Zaz Turned Blue with Mel Torme singing vocals. You ought to get it. I command you to buy it now! -------------------[ archived by Spectropop ]-------------------
