Maybe, but how did Frankie feel about it?

Really? Thanks for the heads-up. I got my notice here on
Long Island at 8:30pm on Saturday - an hour after the show
started! Let us know in time and we'll be there.

Not to worry, Mikey. It sounds as if you met the really
important people. And let's not forget, we're all gonna be
doing this again.... real soon, right?

"Country" Paul comments on one of my choices for PM's Roy
Orbison related CD:
> David Box - If You Can't Say Something Nice (Candix) 1962
> Written by Roy Orbison-Joe Melson-Ray Rush
As far as I know, this is not out on a CD, even a boot, yet.
I have posted a copy to musica. It is a sublime 45. If you
cannot play musica, let me know and we'll work something out.
On the Orbison kick, I'm surprised no one picked up on the
Velvets or Gene Thomas. Gene's "Baby's Gone" was a # 84 hit
in 1963 and like "..Something Nice" it is a connoisseurs'
Orbison knock-off.
It was a real pleasure to meet you and your good lady,
Paul. "Country" Paul did a great job at Friday's Shindig
Party and left an influence.
Best to all,
"Haystacks" Mike

A fellow member of another discussion group is looking for
info about this single:
NEUTRONS - "Julia" b/w "Cut-Out" (Golden Triangle 1002)
Both sides are instrumental; he's looking for info on the
single, the group and the Golden Triangle label (Bay City, MI).
