Co-written and arranged by Keith Olsen, this apparently was EC's debut release on A&M (866). It is credited as being produced by "Crocked Foxx" which I believe was a Gary Paxton-related company for which Keith Olsen worked at the time. Was Curt Boettcher involved in this early EC recording? What about the David Gates-penned flip Wait & See? Anyone? I can't comment on Estelle, but I do know that Nedra Talley was "born again" in the late 70's and actually put out a Christian music album circa 1980. I've never heard it; I just remember seeing the ads in the trades at the time. The last I knew/heard Estelle owned/ran a restaurant in either South or North Carolina and Nedra had married Scott Ross of Christian Broadcasting Network fame. She had become a born again christian and even recorded a christian lp in the mid 70s called Full Circle. I have some pics of Nedra from that lp on my Phil Spector`s Wall Of Sound xxxxxp://members.tripod.com/~rauschj/ Also a nice pic of Estelle from the early 80s there too. Check out Ronnie`s new look for her new cd"She Talks To Rainbxxxxxp://members.tripod.com/rauschj/rs99headshot.JPG That Murray The K lp is pretty cool,I have it on cd but has a different front cover than the lp, I always wondered if there was a pic of the Ronettes on the back. Thanks for the info; it is strange that Ronnie is not shown in the pic. Barbara Eden as Jeannie brought an aspiring act (Boyce & Hart) to Phil Spector, and I think Spector was sitting behind a desk with a wall full of gold albums behind him. Has anyone on Spectropop seen this episode in recent years on reruns? If so, do Boyce & Hart lip synch a song in that episode, and if they do, is it a familiar Boyce/Hart song? What year did this episode air? The first season was in black and white, the rest were in color. Was this episode in color or b/w? ========== End of forwarded message ========== --------------------[ archived by Spectropop ]-------------------- Subject: from Perry Botkin Received: 09/15/99 3:37 am From: Carol Kaye, caroxxxxxhlink.net To: Spectropop List, spectxxxxxities.com I checked with Perry, he says Priscilla Paris "lives" in Paris, no, nothing cut that's "live from Paris", just a misunderstanding, thanks.
