    Hi Jamie,

Neither Rumors nor Wait & See are on the new Eternity's
Children compilation on Revola/Creation, the reason being
that those songs were on A&M and the compilation
concentrates on Eternity's EMI-owned material. Both sides
are brilliant, particularly Wait & See, and would be
perfect for an A&M Records compilation of '60s material,
something which would be essential for soft pop collectors.
Who knows, maybe one of those will materialize one day :-)

Unfortunately, the A&M tracks were unavailable for
licensing in time due to the upheavals of the Universal
    reorganisation....however, some info:

These songs and a few others which were never released
were produced by Keith Olsen "In some Jingle studio in
Texas!" according to Keith....it is probably his solo
production debut....any Curt-like touches are entirely due
to his influence on group leader Bruce Blackman and to
Keith's skill with this type of sound. Crocked Foxx were
the band's slightly shady management company, who often
took credit for things, and had no connection to Gary
    Paxton.

Due to administrative oversight EC's A&M contract lapsed
leaving them free to go to Tower records, not in
retrospect a good move....the original lineup started to
fall apart due to clashes with management over publishing
etc. which got pretty acrimonious, Bruce Blackman (the
main songwriter) and Johnny Walker (Vocalist on 'Mrs.
Bluebird) reconvening various ex-members as they left into
an alternate version of the band sometimes known just as
the Children. Oddly, a couple of the session guys brought
in by Gary Paxton to finish the second album sought this
lineup out & joined them! Gary Paxton, by this time in
Nashville, contacted them and produced an album for RCA in
about 1970, has anyone ever seen/heard this? This same
version of the band later became Starbuck.

    Hope this is of interest!

I only remember an episode of "Bewitched" featuring B&H. I
think they did "Blow You a Kiss in the Wind". But my
memories are as fallible as anyone's.

Phil was on an episode of I Dream Of Jeannie, I have it on
tape somewhere, haven`t viewed it in awhile but it is in
color. Yes, Boyce & Hart are on it. I believe they do
perform a song, I think they lip sync to Alice Long
(you`re my favorite girlfriend). After they do it, Jeannie
turns to Phil and claps her hands excitedly and asks Phil
if he thinks they`re "groovy" ....something to that effect
anyway. As I said I haven`t watched the tape in a long time.
I may not be 100% correct on what they sing.

Phil also appeared on a British show called TJ`s. He
introduces the DC5 and there is a "video" of Phil and DC5
running away from screaming girl fans in the courtyard of
Phil`s mansion. Phil also sings the theme song "Down At
TJ`s" with a full wall of sound. Around the same time Phil
had scored and sung the theme to a special airing of The
Lucy Show called Lucy In London. Another wall of sound
production but more psychedelic and "mod" - almost sounds
like it is going to turn into a Beach Boys tune a la Good
Vibrations. The "video" that accompanies it is "far out",
Lucy all dressed up like a swingin` mod. Vintage stuff.
Phil has also reportedly been on episodes of Mannix and
Mission Impossible but I have never seen them. I only have
the TJ`s and Lucy In London appearances.

I have this episode on video. It is in colour, and Boyce
and Hart lip-synch to a song called "Out & About", which
was isued on A&M 858. Not sure of the date of the episode,
but the song was in the US charts in August '67, (got to
    #39 on Billboard).
